I will be responding to my chosen artists and also try and develop my own style for my work.

Outcome & Evaluation

I will be producing work to show as a final outcome. Then I will evaluate my work based on my studio work for the project.

Approaches
For my Northern Quarter shoot, I have taken photographs of back streets including dirty and gritty scenery’s such as litter, graffiti and shops. For my shoot I have used a different range of angles mainly low angles as I wanted to capture silhouettes and patterns in my shots of scaffolding and balconies on apartments.
I found my strengths for this shoot are my different range of angles such as low angles and high angles. I think other strength of mine is my range of tones in my images such as light and dark tones.
I am planning on basing my work on documentary imagery but also plan on what I want to take such as people, shops, night life, pattern and silhouettes.
The audience I am aiming to communicate my work to will be fine art gallery exhibitions.
With my imagery I am trying to capture the mood and atmosphere of the location such as busy streets and neglected areas.
I am experimenting with a different range of colours depending on the mood of my image that I am responding to.
I am also going for an abstract approach with my paintings as I am experimenting with different brush strokes effects to make my work stand out.
I am planning on doing some mixed media approaches such as blending fine art and photography together by doing this physically and digitally as I can explore this by doing some collage work by using a different range of medias and layering them together.
