These are my primary images for urban locations by capturing shots of the dirty gritty streets of Manchester, around the Northern quarter. I based this shoot around the back streets although there dirty theirs a certain craft about the place as theirs lots of locations within the area that Include graffiti, vintage shops, record stores and cafes. I found that the Northern quarter has got that classic 1930s New York style that suits my theme very well with like I said those dirty gritty streets and vintage cafes and record stores.

I have used a different range of angles in this shoot, mainly low angles and using depth of field and the rule of thirds in my shots and also capturing texture such as rust and dirt.

 

I am planning on developing these images further through out the project by editing them on Photoshop and using a different range of tools and also doing some physical work such as paintings, illustrations and impasto prints based on these images.
